Maria Burke Interiors is enthusiastically seeking a Project Manager with 3+ years of relevant work experience in high-end residential interiors to oversee construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for design concepts, sourcing, client presentations, technical documentation for vendors and manufacturers, as well as budget management and project execution. Maria Burke Interiors is a quickly growing design firm specializing in high end residential remodels, interiors and new builds. The qualities of an ideal candidate are someone who is self disciplined, meticulous, creative, and eager to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Has a general understanding of construction process, SCO, CO
-Interface professionally with trade partners, architects, engineers, city and county officials, clients, and consultants.
-Supervising floor plans, elevations, furniture plans, interior architectural details using AutoCAD
-Creating and amending purchase orders
- Identify and resolve conflicts or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle
-Conducting image research for new projects
-Researching and sourcing furniture, lighting, fabrics, rugs, textiles, and other decorative objects
-Generating proposals, overseeing the placement and progression of orders, and coordinating shipping
-Assisting in the preparation of project deliverables as well as client meetings
-Communicating and coordinating closely with vendors, showrooms, workrooms, and manufacturers, contractors, and architects to develop detailed schedules and ensure highest quality standards
-Providing support on project installations + post-project follow-up work
-Understanding of construction methods, building systems, and construction documentation
-Minimum 3 years of full-time experience working as a Project Manager with a focus on construction or in a relevant role on residential projects
-Profeciency in AutoCAD
-A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Art, Architecture or a related creative field
-Knowledge of Studio Designer, Excel, Dropbox, Canva, Photoshop
-Design sensibility that resonates with MBI’s portfolio of work
-General knowledge in facilities planning, building design, construction administration and related activities
-Willingess to travel
-Reliable car and valid driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate effectively with all project stakeholders
-Own a computer
-In Office or Hybrid Remote - frequent studio visits required and flexibility in being able to attend site visits or design meetings that arise
-Compensation is based on experience
