Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen and bath Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, and space planning, with proficiency in various design and drafting software. This role involves being a strong sales closer and collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath layouts, ensuring compliance with building codes, and delivering innovative design solutions. The Kitchen and Bath Designer will play a key role in transforming spaces through creative vision and technical expertise, contributing to the success of our remodeling projects and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints for kitchen projects.
Proven negotiation and closing skills
Develop detailed kitchen and bath layouts using software such as AutoCAD and other tools.
Create accurate construction detail documentation and building code analysis to ensure designs meet all safety and compliance standards.
Create rendering presentations and visualizations that effectively communicate design concepts.
Conduct color theory analysis to select appropriate color schemes that enhance overall aesthetic appeal.
Manage project timelines from concept through installation, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Assist in lighting sales and lighting design to optimize functionality and ambiance within kitchen and bath spaces.
Prepare budgets, contracts, and proposals for remodeling or renovation projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
Stay current with industry trends in interior design, remodeling, construction experience, and building code compliance to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in kitchen/bathroom design and remodeling with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
Proven negotiation and closing skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, similar 3D modeling software.
Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, construction detail documentation, building code analysis, and BIM tools.
Knowledge of color theory, lighting design principles, and remodeling processes.
Background in construction or renovation projects is highly desirable.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
