Position: Junior Designer
Reports to: Senior Designer
Employment Type:Full Time | On-Site | Los Angeles
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented Junior Designer who is eager to grow within a high-caliber creative environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about residential interior design and ready to contribute to beautiful, well-executed projects.
Job Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Design Support
• Assist in developing design concepts under the direction of the Senior Designer
• Help prepare client presentations and meeting materials
• Create and manage AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, and space plans
• Source and specify soft goods and construction materials
• Assist with specification documentation and project schedules
• Support the purchase process including quote requests, item entry in Studio Designer, and order tracking
• Assist with installation coordination and onsite support as needed
• Participate in photoshoot preparation and onsite assistance
Administrative
• Assist with new client and vendor account setup
• Maintain accurate and organized project files
• Contribute to design library organization and sample management
• Support company marketing efforts as requested
• Assist with errands including vendor pickups, sample returns, and supply runs as needed
Product Collection
• Provide support for product line initiatives as needed
We welcome candidates who bring a genuine enthusiasm for design and a willingness to learn. You do not need to have done it all before. You just need to care about doing great work.
• A design aesthetic that aligns with our firm's style, along with a curiosity for sourcing and specifying
• 1 to 3 years of interior design experience, residential preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Familiarity with 3D programs and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Exposure to Studio Designer is a plus but not required
• Resourceful, organized, and proactive with strong time management habits
• A solution-oriented mindset
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States
• A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a vehicle for local travel
