Junior Designer needed to assist in all aspects of our interior design projects as well as at our two retail locations in NYC and Locust Valley. Responsibilities include:

* Play a key role in all interior design projects, including assisting with floor plans, scheme boards, attending client meetings and site visits, working with clients and trades people, tracking orders and installations.
* Should have a working knowledge of AutoCad.
* Place and track orders for clients, including fabric, wallpaper, lighting, furniture, etc.
* Maintain our fabric and wallpaper sample library
* Gain a working knowledge of our retail inventory at both locations.
* Create proposals and invoices on Studio Designer software program
* Assist in research and writing of our House Beautiful column; photo shoots; and related media work.
* Assist with events, such as book signings, trunk shows, etc.
* Assist with social media and promotions

* 1-2 years experience with a high-end interior design firm
* Knowledge of social media platforms
* Microsoft Office
* 2D AutoCad Knowledge
* Knowledge of Studio Designer or similar platforms
* Knowledge of the D&D Building
* Detail oriented
* Highly organized
* Good communication skills
* Works well with others
