Zimmer + Rohde, a global leader in luxury textiles and wallcoverings, is seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Executive to join our New York team and oversee the New Jersey territory. This is a remote position that requires significant travel throughout the state.

Responsibilities:
-Represent Zimmer + Rohde’s six luxury brands and a curated selection of multiline offerings.
-Drive sales by identifying suitable products for designers and architects, and reinforcing our brand presence.
-Schedule and conduct in-person presentations for new and existing collections.
-Offer thoughtful and proactive product recommendations tailored to clients’ project needs.
-Maintain visibility in design libraries with sampling tools and up-to-date materials.
-Provide clients with detailed product knowledge including pricing, lead times, and custom capabilities.
-Analyze account activity to uncover opportunities and expand business.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with design professionals and specifiers.
-Actively pursue new business through networking, industry events, trade shows, and social media.
-Collaborate with the inside sales team and showroom manager to meet or exceed annual sales goals.
-Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales activity and client interactions.
Must be located within New Jersey and be willing to travel extensively within the territory
Preferred experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling luxury goods within the A+D community, or interior design
Valid driver’s license
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook
Strong organizational skills and follow up
Excellent time management, communication, and strong presentation skills
Exceptional customer service and client development skills
