Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Interior Architect with a strong architectural foundation, exceptional design eye, and the technical ability to translate creative concepts into beautifully resolved drawings, renderings, details, and built environments.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that will lead architectural drawing, detailing, and rendering within the studio while working closely with the design team throughout all phases of a project—from initial concept and design development through construction and final installation.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a custom architectural detail, producing a highly refined rendering, coordinating with contractors and fabricators, and problem-solving in the field. This position requires someone who can balance creativity with technical precision and confidently manage multiple high-end residential projects at various stages of development.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead production of architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawing packages for interior and exterior spaces.
Produce highly refined 2D and 3D drawings and renderings of interiors, architectural elements, custom millwork, and furniture.
Translate design concepts into accurate, detailed, and buildable drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Develop custom architectural elements, millwork, cabinetry, furniture, and project-specific details.
Provide architectural leadership within the studio and help maintain drawing standards and accuracy across projects.
Coordinate closely with the design team, clients, architects, contractors, consultants, fabricators, craftspeople, and vendors.
Participate in day-to-day project management, maintaining clear communication and follow-through across multiple active projects.
Prepare and issue client presentations, proposals, drawing packages, specifications, and other project documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from an accredited institution; M.Arch. preferred.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture, interiors, or a related design environment.
Experience with high-end residential architecture and/or interior design projects strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD with strong working proficiency in SketchUp and Revit.
Advanced experience with architectural rendering and visualization software such as Lumion, Maxwell, or comparable programs.
Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction documentation, millwork, custom furniture, materials, and finishes.
Exceptional design sensibility with a sophisticated understanding of proportion, materiality, scale, and spatial composition.
Experience managing architectural or interior design projects through multiple phases.
Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Ability to effectively coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, consultants, fabricators, and internal team members.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple active projects.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments while working collaboratively.
Reliable personal transportation for local site visits, meetings, sourcing, and installations.
Willingness to travel for projects, typically at least once per month, depending on project needs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
5+ years working on high-end residential construction and interior design projects.
Experience developing custom millwork, furniture, and architectural details.
Experience working directly with contractors, fabricators, craftspeople, and specialty vendors.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel and Word, and Google Workspace.
Experience with construction administration, site coordination
