Dwelle Design Studio is an interior design firm based in Orange County, California, specializing in thoughtful, high-end residential interiors.
We are seeking an Interior Designer to support ongoing projects with a strong focus on design execution, sourcing, and documentation. This role is ideal for a designer with professional experience who is confident taking direction and executing key aspects of the design process independently.
You will work closely with the Principal Designer across multiple residential projects, with the opportunity to take ownership of design execution and contribute meaningfully to the overall workflow.
As a growing studio, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can bring both initiative and structure to their work.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing design presentations and selection boards
• Sourcing furnishings, finishes, and materials aligned with project direction
• Producing construction documents, elevations, and design details
• Supporting specification development and organization
• Coordinating design intent across drawings and selections
• Assisting with overall project organization and internal workflow
• 3–5+ years of experience in residential interior design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Canva required
• Experience producing elevations, plans, and design documentation
• Strong eye for design and ability to execute within an established aesthetic
• Experience sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Based in Orange County and available to work in-office at our San Clemente studio 2-3 days per week
• Must have reliable transportation to attend job sites throughout Orange County
This is a part-time position to start (~20 hours/week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking someone who can contribute immediately and take ownership of key aspects of the design process.
