The Interior Design Assistant will work closely with the Principal Designer to support residential design projects from concept through execution. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, technically skilled, and eager to grow within a hands-on studio environment.
Requirements:
*Assist with design development, space planning, and project documentation
*Draft and revise floor plans, elevations, and details in AutoCAD
*Create and edit 3D models and visuals in SketchUp
*Produce renderings and walkthroughs using Enscape
*Prepare presentations, mood boards, and client-facing materials
*Organize project files, schedules, and design assets
*Support sourcing, specifications, and general studio tasks
*Assist with in-office coordination related to ongoing projects
Qualifications:
*Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape (required)
*Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Punctual, reliable, and professional
*Self-starter who can manage tasks independently while collaborating with a team
*Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shifting project timelines
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Previous interior design or related experience preferred
