Project Planning and Oversight
Develop and manage comprehensive timelines spanning architecture, interior architecture, construction, FF&E, procurement, and installation. Maintain the master schedule, scope workload for designers and support teams, track milestones, forecast needs, and identify challenges early. Ensure sequencing aligns with construction and fabrication schedules and maintain steady momentum across multiple estate projects.
Team Coordination and Leadership
Lead internal meetings with clarity and accountability. Provide structure that helps designers plan tasks, meet deadlines, and work with focus. Support junior designers with guidance and realistic workload planning. Uphold the standards of accuracy and refinement in all deliverables. Serve as the central communication link among design teams, procurement, drafting, builders, installers, and consultants.
Tools, Systems, and Reporting
Use project management platforms such as Asana to manage tasks, dependencies, and timelines. Maintain dashboards, status reports, and project documentation that support clarity and operational efficiency. Ensure all files remain organized, accurate, and detailed.
Client and Project Excellence
Support a white-glove client experience through proactive planning and clear communication. Identify opportunities to refine processes, elevate efficiency, and maintain the quality and professionalism that define the Spectrum brand. We are seeking a professional with deep experience in luxury residential interior design and advanced project management capabilities. Core Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience managing high-end residential interior design projects across concept, design development, construction coordination, procurement, and installation.
Demonstrated success in multi-phase project management including master schedules, milestone planning, dependency mapping, and oversight of design and procurement workflows.
Strong proficiency with project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp, including Gantt charts, dashboards, and timeline forecasting.
Advanced communication and organizational skills with the ability to clearly relay tasks, deadlines, and expectations to designers, clients, contractors, and vendors.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects while maintaining momentum, accuracy, and high standards.
Skilled in proactive risk identification and problem-solving with the ability to anticipate challenges and maintain alignment.
Experience coordinating with architects, contractors, fabricators, and specialty trades, ensuring alignment with design intent and construction schedules.
Ability to accurately scope hours for design team tasks to support workload planning and resource allocation.
Familiarity with professional project management methodologies; certification is beneficial but not required.
