Lenox Hill Neighborhood House will host its 2026 Spring Gala, Once Upon a Dream, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Widely regarded as one of the city’s most imaginative and joyful design events, the Spring Gala brings together 500 guests for an unforgettable evening of creativity, community, and purpose.
At the heart of the event are spectacular tabletop installations created by leading interior designers from across the country. Each participating designer conceives a one-of-a-kind tablescape, transforming the ballroom into an immersive landscape of color, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Together, these installations create a visually dynamic and collaborative experience that celebrates the power of design to inspire connection.
The Once Upon a Dream theme was curated to give designers creative freedom and the opportunity to think outside the box. The beauty of the event lies in witnessing the wide range of interpretations that emerge under a shared umbrella, as designers bring their own perspectives, narratives, and artistry to the table. Each installation retains its innate uniqueness while contributing to a magically connected array that feels cohesive, layered, and alive.
This collective approach creates a rich and immersive experience for guests, inviting them to move through the room and engage with the many interpretations of the theme. Together, these moments convey the mission and work of Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, demonstrating how creativity and community can come together to create meaningful impact. Let’s dream together and make dreams come true.
The 2026 Spring Gala will honor Assembly Member Rebecca A. Seawright, Christopher Spitzmiller, and Wilkinson Global Asset Management for their leadership, creativity, and commitment to strengthening New York City communities. Lindsey Coral Harper and Harry Heissmann will serve as Design Chairs.
Proceeds from the Spring Gala support Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s essential programs serving thousands of New Yorkers each year, including older adults, children and families, neighbors experiencing homelessness, adult learners, and individuals in need of essential services. Founded in 1894, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is one of New York City’s premier social service nonprofits, providing a comprehensive range of programs rooted in dignity, compassion, and innovation.
