On Friday, July 29, Luxe editor in chief Pamela Jaccarino and Kate Kelly Smith, executive vice president and managing director of Luxe and chief sales officer of Sandow Design Group, co-hosted a chic garden party to celebrate its annual Luxe Hamptons special edition at LongHouse Reserve, a 16-acre sculpture garden in East Hampton, New York, created by internationally acclaimed textile designer Jack Lenor Larsen.
“This year’s issue marked a momentous occasion for the brand as we published the largest Hamptons issue ever,” said Kelly Smith. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate this extraordinary milestone in the most magical setting along with our partners, sponsors and the talented community of design professionals.”
The invitation-only alfresco fete welcomed more than 150 industry influencers and tastemakers including Katie Leede, Anthony Baratta, Carrie Barratt, Elena Frampton, Brad Ford, David Scott, Ariella Duker, Michael Cox, Bella Zakarian Mancini, James Huniford, Adam Sandow and Augusta Hoffman, whose design of a charming farmhouse retreat—in collaboration with contractors Stephen Sisca and Vitaly Katsnelson of Renovation Partners along with locally based Carlos Mendoza of Eastern Chateau—graces the cover of the special edition.
“Our annual Hamptons party has become one of the most highly anticipated design events of the summer,” said Jaccarino. “It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces come together to support the issue and celebrate the best in Hamptons architecture and design.”
In addition to perambulating the magnificent grounds and networking over light bites and assorted wines by Bridgehampton Breeze, guests lounged on vignettes of luxurious outdoor furnishings provided by Oka as the Julie Bluestone jazz trio performed sets throughout the evening. Local florist Anchor & Bloom provided exquisite floral arrangements, while custom high-performance fabric tablecloths by Perennials and miniature displays of Kallista’s freestanding Argile bathtub planted with succulents completed the idyllic summer scene.
