On May 19, interior designer Brian Brown celebrated the opening of his new studio and showroom at the historic Hillcrest Design Center with a who’s who guest list of more than 100 San Diego luminaries.
The festive evening took place both indoors and out at the airy and modern, 2,700-square-foot space nestled among the treetops on the center’s second floor. Guests enjoyed music and cocktails while exploring the immersive, residentally styled showroom, which includes a welcoming resource library where clients can discuss projects while admiring the verdant views through the full-length windows, as well as a large open kitchen and multiple living areas—all designed to inspire creativity and innovation.
The open-to-the-public showroom carries such top-tier brands as Arteriors, Benjamin Moore, Caesarstone, Elitis, Emtek, Fisher & Paykel, Ferguson and McGuire, plus a wide selection of homewares—much of which can be found nowhere else in San Diego.
“I was incredibly impressed with the grand opening of the Brian Brown Studio in San Diego,” said Michael Rhodes of Ferguson. “The space is equally calming as it is inspirational, a perfect environment for collaboration. I found myself imagining how comfortable I’d be if I were a homeowner embarking on a new project. Combined with Brian and the team’s creative genius, playful style and genuine kindness, the Brian Brown Studio is an absolute home run.”
