Starting December 9, on Red Dot’s Young Professionals Application Day, rising design talents are invited to submit their product for free participation in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016 competition. The 50 emerging talents who win will be recognized with use of the Red Dot label for the award-winning product, as well as with a product exhibition both online and in the Red Dot Design Museum in Germany. The winners will also be published in the Red Dot Design Yearbook and introduced internationally to tens of thousands of design fans via the Red Dot On Tour program.
“With Young Professionals Application Day, we are supporting today’s talented designers, who may soon be shaping the design world of tomorrow. Designer interest is strong every year, and the potential is huge: In the last competition year alone, nearly 20 percent of these participants received an award," says Peter Zec, founder and CEO of the Red Dot Award.
Early-bird registration is open until December 4; regular registration runs from December 5 to January 26; and latecomer registration runs January 27 to February 10. Learn more and apply.
