Modernlook, a new, members-only online luxury showroom co-founded by three interior designers, aims to bring unique international items to new markets through a series of online pop-up shops.

Modernlook.com is a new, online marketplace.

Frustrated by the sometimes limited scope of sourcing design products regionally, co-founder Mighael Halabu described the website as a platform to “expose items that might be regional hidden treasures.”

While anyone can sign up for a free account, the website is geared toward helping designers not only by providing alternatives to items found in regional showrooms and design centers, but by promoting the works of designers themselves. Based in the heart of the Miami design district, Modernlook has previously featured brands and designers such as Luminaire in Miami, Sam Roberts, Britto Charette, and the Brooklyn-based Robert Devany.
