On Monday morning, Target unlocked the doors to a life-size, two-story dollhouse in Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall, filled with furnishings, décor and housewares from Target's new home line, Threshold.

The dollhouse, which boasted 1540 sqft of living space, was 21 feet high and was built by a crew of 50 in less than 54 hours. Two furnished stories of the dollhouse featured seven uniquely decorated rooms.

Sabrina Soto, Target style expert for home and HGTV designer; Julie Guggemos, vice president of product design and development for Target; and Tim Kehoe, associate product design director for Target, were all present for the unveiling of the house.

Visitors were able to relive childhood memories as they explored the interiors, gathering spring and summer style inspiration. They also had the opportunity to shop from the dollhouse with their mobile devices, enjoy five-minute hair and makeup touch-ups from beauty experts and participate in a “blogger scavenger hunt” for prizes.
