Spring ahead with nineteen new showrooms

Some things don’t need to wait for Spring to blossom and grow; check out these 18 new showrooms around the world, and find something new. From San Francisco and L.A. to Milan and the U.A.E., here is the latest and the greatest in new offerings for all interior design needs.

New York, NY

Six new showrooms have opened in the New York Design Center: Alea (Suite 1509), Crosby Street Studios (Suite 1303), ducduc, Dueue (Suite 715), Theodore Alexander (Suite 515), Kindel (Suite 806) and Todd Hase Furniture (Suite 425). (200 Lexington Avenue).

Luxury global furniture designer Lazzoni has opened a new showroom in Soho presenting a fresh solution to small living spaces through clean aesthetic lines and solutions that minimize clutter. (26 Greene Street).

Room & Board has opened its second New York City showroom in Chelsea. The 48,000 square foot location features three floors of handcrafted, American-made furniture and accessories. (236 W 18th Street).

Los Angeles, CA

To showcase her new line of furniture, Interior Designer Christina Karras opened a new retail store, which will feature vintage and bespoke furnishings, decorative objects, accessories and more. Specific lines include Persephenie apothecary and beauty products, H Jaye accessories, and an accessories collaboration between Karras and Sky Kelly from Haus of Sky. (456 South La Brea).

San Francisco, CA

Interior design firm Henderson opened a Henderson Retail Design Studio on the edge of the San Francisco design district, following the success of the Henderson Retail Design Studio in Hawaii. At the Design Studio Customers can purchase displayed pieces or design custom pieces. They can also peruse new-to-San Francisco vendors Light in Art and Seventh and 7th Designs. (17th and Bryant Street).

Cisco Home is now offering two new locations in the Bay Area, one in San Francisco (195 Rhode Island St) and the other in Paolo Alto (855 El Camino Real). A space in the San Francisco Design Center is also forthcoming. Both locations will allow consumers to experience first-hand Cisco Home's approach to sustainability and elegance through its collection of contemporary, sustainable, made-in-LA furniture.

Miami, FL

With its second flagship store in the Miami Design District, Luxury Living will commemorate the 10th anniversary of its first flagship location. The 7,700 square foot showroom will feature items across the Luxury Living Interiors collections including, FENDI Outdoor, FENDI Casa Ambiente Cucina and Bentley Home. This location will feature the largest displays for Bentley Home furniture and FENDI Casa Ambiente Cucina, including a complete kitchen experience. (4100 NE Avenue, Suite 201).

Troy, MI

The Michigan Design Center welcomes RJ Thomas’ fourth showroom. The new expansion raises the occupancy of Thomas’ showrooms to over 15,000 square feet, and will feature modern, contemporary and transitional styles from manufacturers such as Bernhardt, Euro Style, Trica and Bungalow 5. (Suite 77, Michigan Design Center).

Atlanta, GA

ADAC welcomes R Hughes (Suite 320) and Summerour Architects (ADAC West, Suite A5).

Featuring six stories and 700,000 square feet, RH, previously known as Restoration Hardware, opened its largest ever store in the Buckhead neighborhood. The new location replaces the now-closed unit in the Perimeter Center mall, and highlights the company’s transition to focus on upscale furniture, decorative accessories and other home furnishings. The store also features RH’s first Small Spaces area, as well as its first Baby & Child department integrated into an RH location. The Atlanta store is the first of 65 to 70 planned gallery locations. (The Gallery at The Estate in Buckhead).

Dubai, UAE

Crestron's new regional office in the city center of Dubai includes a Customer Experience Center and two large training classrooms. The Experience Center will allow customers to demonstrate to their clients the full range of Crestron solutions, while the classrooms allow Crestron to provide training in new technologies being embraced, such as 4K distribution solutions.

Milan, Italy

January marked the opening of Driade’s new showroom in Milan, designed by newly appointed Artistic Director Sir David Chipperfield. Chipperfield will be not only designing the showroom, but also product design for the revival of Driade.

The Shade Store's three-story, nearly 3,000 square foot Midtown flagship showroom will open on March 6 in New York City. The showroom will feature all product lines and a conference room where designers can meet with clients. Other locations soon to follow are: Paramus, NJ in March; DCOTA, Santa Monica and Santa Barbara, CA, Garden City and Roslyn, NY, in April; Laguna Design Center, Charlotte, NC, and Philadelphia, PA in May; and Pasenda,CA and Portland, OR in June.
