As part of a new private label series called The Syndicate, designer Sara Gilbane released a collaborative collection with furniture company The New Traditionalists (TNT).
The series put on by TNT will feature collaborations with designers who, like Gilbane, have an established relationship with the company, according to Philip Erdoes, CEO of The New Traditionalists.
“We wanted to expand our current designer relationships,” said Erdoes. “We already had a relationship with Sara and we loved her point of view; we’re thrilled to launch The Syndicate with her capsule collection.”

Gilbane was most excited to create pieces she had the hardest time finding, namely furnishings that work in the small spaces of her Manhattan clients. “This was a wonderful opportunity to create a collection that I find beautiful and functional,” said Gilbane.

Her capsule collection is also based on antiques and one-of-a-kind pieces she has purchased for clients. These are the pieces she wishes she could buy again and again, but never could.

The collection is comprised of seven pieces: a love seat, lounge chair, breakfast table, coffee table, daybed, queen-sized bed and a glass-top side table. Each piece is fully customizable with TNT’s entire range of finishes and upholstery.
