Gorman's today announced the addition of Pierre Deux to its showrooms in Novi and Grand Rapids, Michigan. The news is the first sign of life regarding Pierre Deux since it shuttered 23 stores in June when the owners, Arts des Provinces de France, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy listing assets of $12.1 million and debts of $53.9 million.

Pierre Deux products, which include case goods as well as upholstered pieces for the living room, dining room and bedroom, can be ordered through all five Michigan-based Gorman's showrooms.

"Pierre Deux provides an escape to the French countryside with a distinct assortment of hand-crafted Provencal furniture," said Tom Lias, president and COO of Gorman’s. "Blending the old with the new, the collection brings both a sophisticated elegance and warmth and character to the home."

Currently, Pierre Deux retail locations are holding Going Out Of Business Sales. Customers who have outstanding orders with the company may obtain information online or contact Gary Marks, Esq. at 908.722.0700 for assistance.
