One of the late architect Zaha Hadid’s final residential projects will begin construction in early 2017 in New York City. The property, developed by The Moinian Group, is located at 220 11th Avenue in Chelsea, near the architect’s other New York condo, which is still under construction.

“We are deeply honored to develop one of Zaha’s final creations and cement her astonishing legacy forevermore here in Manhattan. She was a special woman and a friend who we all miss very much,” shares Mitchell Moinian of The Moinian Group.

Hadid’s firm, Zaha Hadid Architects, is now working on international projects, including the new Beijing Airport Terminal Building, the Sleuk Rith Institute in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and the Mathematics Gallery at London’s Science Museum.
