Next week at NeoCon in Chicago, Michael Graves Design Group will present its collection of contract fabrics for CF Stinson. The Voyages collection is made of vinyl, a high-performance surface material ideal for acute care patient settings because it can be thoroughly disinfected.

Excursion
Also for the show, which runs through the 13th, Wolf-Gordon has created a temporary, site-specific sculpture, surfaced in a selection of its wallcoverings and textiles including several brand-new for the show. The canopy will be suspended above the 1st to 2nd floor escalator on the well-traveled path that is aptly referred to as the Mart’s “town square.” The sculpture is a multi-faceted explosion of bright color and innovative pattern, composed of more than 250 sides, covered in upholstery textiles, wallcoverings, and mirrors, providing an upbeat composition for the inner core of the Mart.
Canopy Installation Sneak Peek, Sunday, June 10, 4PM Merchandise Mart – meet at bottom of escalator at "town square". RSVP mandatory to danielle@susangrantlewin.com.
Wolf-Gordon will also present new patterns for its London Chic, Haven III, and Metropolitan catalogs. The latest type II wallcoverings take their cues from such diverse inspirations as Op Art and clothing textiles to current design trends towards unnatural depictions of natural motifs. Wolf-Gordon will also feature three new items in 100% solution dyed nylon, all high-performing upholstery textiles which exceed 100,000 double rubs on the Wyzenbeek test.
