Modenus Media launched its first Modenus Talks Miami, during Art Basel Miami Beach and Design Miami/. The featured event for interior and kitchen and bath designers and design students kicked off on December 2 at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, and was followed with a dinner cruise in Biscayne Bay.

Veronika Miller, CEO of Modenus Media, shared, “We [were] thrilled to be able to bring design professionals, design students, brands, social media influencers and other industry experts together for a day of networking, learning, sharing and fun. Our panel of speakers is absolutely stellar, and we know that a day of intense learning followed by a day or two of art and design during Art Basel is the perfect combination for our community members to kick back and take time out of their busy schedules between the holidays.”

Keynote sessions took place, including Libby Langdon's “Broadening Your Brand and Exploring Licensing Opportunities,” Stacy Kunstel's “Tips & Tricks for Styling for a Photo Shoot,” and Toma Clark Haines's “The Antique and Vintage Style of Europe and How to Avoid Pitfalls.” Breakout sessions included talks with Scandinavian design expert Susan Serra discussing the balance between modern and cozy chic. The day concluded with Jane Gianarelli's “Art Uncorked: How to Sketch Fearlessly,” a discussion about the step-by-step process of sketching a vignette or furniture.
