Earlier this week, Luxe San Francisco’s inaugural edition hit newsstands with a total of 314 pages of high-end homes and swanky designer projects as well as 170 advertising pages from both local and national partners.

"The level of design talent in San Francisco and the Bay Area is impressive, and we are excited to cover some of the dynamic projects happening locally,” said Pamela Jaccarino, VP, Editor-in-Chief of Luxe Interiors + Design. “With an intelligent, affluent audience and a strong perspective on design and innovation, this market is a perfect place for us to introduce Luxe’s 14th regional edition."

The issue features high-end homes by many of the area’s top designers and architects—David Oldroyd uses rich materials to create a serene San Francisco penthouse, Martha Angus rejuvenates a Marin County house with casual interiors and lively colors, Andrew Mann creates a St. Helena aerie with sophisticated and earthy elements, and Ken Fulk enlivens a modern residence with an energizing mix of furnishings.

“Because of the strength of the Luxe brand and its unparalleled relationships in the local markets where we publish editions, we have received an overwhelmingly positive response from the San Francisco area design community,” said Lisa Lovely, Publisher of Luxe San Francisco. “We’re thrilled to be launching in a city that really values and understands the importance of good design.”

With more than 145 homes featured editorially each year, Luxe highlights global design trends as well as the regional luxury design scene in each market the magazine covers. Luxe’s editorial team, headed by Jaccarino, will oversee all content for the San Francisco edition. On the advertising front, San Francisco-based Publisher Lovely will work with a dedicated local sales team.

“Each of the regions we cover has its own distinct flair, yet each speak to the notion that home is your greatest luxury,” said Jaccarino. “The Bay Area is one that’s steeped in history yet has an edge when it comes to tech, and obviously, the landscape plays a big role in the diversity of homes. In our premiere issue, for example, we take readers from a sleek 60th-floor South of Market penthouse with sweeping views of the Bay Bridge and Farallon Islands to an airy Mediterranean-influenced ranch in Marin County; an earthy St. Helena shingle-style residence set on an ethereal acre in Napa, and an energetic, punched-up Victorian home in Pacific Heights.”

Luxe celebrated the debut of its San Francisco edition with a launch event on June 25 at the city’s Coup D’Etat showroom. And the magazine officially hit newsstands on Tuesday, July 15.

“A fair share of designer-friends called me to lovingly nudge us to launch a dedicated book in the Bay Area,” said Jaccarino. “I’m thrilled that we made the decision. The homes we’re shooting now for future issues, along with those in our premier edition, are truly inspiring.”

Earlier this week, Luxe Interiors + Design also announced its expansion into the Hamptons with Luxe Hamptons and a special partnership with Art Southampton.
