In partnership with designer Walter Terruso, lingerie brand La Perla has created a custom vanity table, named Mia, which will debut at Milan Design Week this year. The piece features an oversize round mirror covered in plissé silk with maple wooden accents. It will be displayed in the windows of the brand’s Milan flagship location.

“The theme of Extended Intimacy today imbues all the new La Perla collections and now also inspires the Mia vanity table, exclusively created for La Perla,” says Nick Tacchi, global marketing director at La Perla. “An idea based on the sense of intimacy that pervades each expression of La Perla style, even the ones that belong to the public sphere. This concept and the presence of silk are the trait d’union with the Esprit d’Atelier pouf that was presented last year at Milan Design Week. Both these creations celebrate the feminine beauty and are dedicated to the private moments that every woman loves to dedicate to herself. These furniture pieces are perfectly in tune with La Perla’s elegance, sensuality and preciousness.
