The Design Bloggers Conference is back for its second year and interior designer and Million Dollar Decorator star Martyn Lawrence-Bullard will be the keynote speaker. The conference will be held from February 26-28, 2012 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
Drawing interior design bloggers and new media innovators, the conference and experience for professionals actively using or interested in learning about the intersection of new media and the interior design industry including blogging, social media, and more.
Participating bloggers will learn to build a personal brand for themselves, their blog, and their design career, and develop techniques to engage their audience with information and inspiration on multiple platforms using a variety of business models and marketing channels.
The conference will include the following sessions: Interior Design Trends in 2012; Cashing in on Your New Online Footprint: Paths to Income and Careers; Creating Inspirational Content – The Secrets of Professional Photographers; BlogStars: Social Networking, Content, and The Future of Blogs; The Impact of Social Media on Content Creation; The Emerging Integration of Search and Social Media – Google+, Facebook, and Klout; Building Your Brand: Grow Your Blog With Creative Video; Curated Content: A New Business Model; and How to Build Traffic Through Facebook, Twitter, and Search.
In addition, One Kings Lane will be awarding scholarships to five worthy bloggers, giving them the opportunity to attend the conference to expand their knowledge and networks in the design blogoshphere. The scholarship was established to assist serious bloggers that otherwise could not attend and are in the process of building their businesses, reputations, and brands.
Registration is $395 through January 15, 2012 and $495 thereafter. Tickets are 50% refundable through January 31, 2011.
