In addition to the latest in home furnishings and accessories and a full line-up of social events and receptions, World Market Center Las Vegas, July 29-August 2, is adding daily complimentary breakfast and coffee service.

Kicking off the week, prior to Las Vegas Market’s official opening, WMC will host a Rep Appreciation Party on Sunday, July 29 from 12– 2pm in the Grand Plaza. The centerpiece of the week’s social events will be the Opening Night Celebration, July 30 at 6 pm, featuring the acclaimed acro-cabaret variety show Absinthe, which performs nightly under the Tent at Caesars Palace. The evening will include several performances by the troupe, where they will undertake daring feats of strength, danger and unfathomable flexibility to the music of DJ Twin. The evening will be complemented by themed stations offering treats and sweets matched up to the circus-like atmosphere created on the Plaza.

Day two will offer brunch from 10:30-11:30am, on the Design & Living floor in Building C on the fourth floor. Later that evening, World Market Center Las Vegas will host its second annual Gift for Life reception “Up on the Roof” to benefit the Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA). The reception, taking place at 6 p.m. on World View atop the 16th floor of Building B, will feature cocktails, appetizers and music against the backdrop of the Vegas skyline. Tickets for the event can be purchased prior to Market at Gift for Life website or during Las Vegas Market at the Gift for Life desk in the lobby of Building C.

Las Vegas Market also will be hosting a “Summer in Vegas” party on July 31 on the Grand Plaza from 6 – 8pm. The music-filled evening will include California cuisine and cocktails set to the sounds of musical act, Tommy Rocker and Conched Out.

On August 1, Ahead of the Curve will offer an exclusive preview of the hottest new home design trends. This year’s cast of designers includes Betsy Burnham, principal designer and founder of Burnham Design, Philip Gorrivan, founder of Philip Gorrivan Design, and Darren Henault, founder of Darren Henault Interiors.

With their fingers on the pulse of what’s hot for the next season, these three top designers will scour the five million square feet of showrooms at World Market Center, and share their best finds during their live panel discussion and webcast, which will include a question and answer segment. Moderated by TODAY Show contributor Susanna Salk, the presentation will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 9:00 a.m. in Building C-352.

Following the presentation, Market attendees will be given the chance to have their own signed copy of Salk’s new book, Be Your Own Decorator: Taking Confidence and Cues by the World's Leading Designers, released on March 27 of this year.

Also August 1, attendees are invited to a special reception in B3 from 5– 6pm. to celebrate the dynamic collection of new showrooms with complimentary cocktails and tasty treats. Following the reception, attendees can exit to the Grand Plaza where they can enjoy “Sweet Treats” from 6– 8pm. featuring delectable candy, desserts and more—all to the music of Yellow Brick Road.

There will be wine tastings in Market’s “Gourmet” section daily July 30 – Aug. 2 from 2– 3pm in C572; the Design and Living Wine Bar, July 30-Aug. 2 from 4 – 6pm. in Building C on the fourth floor and daily cocktail receptions at the B2 Temporaries, July 30 – Aug. 2 from 4– 6pm.

Throughout the week, attendees can also enjoy daily complimentary Grab ‘N Go breakfast from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m. on the Grand Plaza, as well as a Coffee Stop in C606 from 8am – 6pm. Additionally, all attendees should stop by the First Look Exhibit which will be on display throughout the week in the lobby of Building B, showcasing new product discovered at Las Vegas Market, with a special focus on the new, trend-forward B3 destination.
