London's LAPADA Art and Antiques Fair, running September 13 to 18, will this year feature a number of new exhibitors hailing from around the globe, across categories including furniture, carpets, tapestries, antiquities, ceramics, fine art, silver and more. In order to participate, exhibitors must be members of LAPADA's Association of Art & Antiques Dealers, meeting a set of standards and having their pieces pre-vetted by a team of 70 experts.

Mieka Sywak, director of the LAPADA Fair, says, “We are pleased to announce that exhibitor stands at the 2016 LAPADA Fair were sold out by May 2016. With four months to go until the LAPADA Fair [at that time], this is exceptionally early compared with previous years. This result reflects the hard work and commitment shown by the Association to ensure the Fair remains popular and relevant to buyers and collectors alike. Dealers, in every discipline, have ensured the works they offer are of exceptional quality and presented beautifully. As organizers, we have focused our efforts in creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors and are grateful to our partners and sponsors who have supported us in this endeavor."

Among the new exhibitors are D. Larsson Interiör & Antikhandel, specializing in 18th- and 19th-century Swedish painted furniture and decorative arts; Pushkin Antiques, with silver, collectibles and luxury interior pieces; and Whitford Fine Art, with European and British 20th-century painting and sculpture. The fair's returning dealers include William Cook, dealing fine furntiure and artwork; Jonathan Cooper, with contemporary paintings and sculpture; Titus Omega, with art nouveau, art deco and arts and crafts antiques; and Brian Watson, with antique glass.
