Comité Bellecour of Lyon and Prestige et Tradition of Paris—two French associations of luxury-goods makers—will present an exhibition in New York showcasing the unique savoir-faire of twenty-two French companies.
Rouveure-Marquez Plaster and Stucco Decorative Sculpture
Entitled La Grande Decoration / French Art de Vivre, the exhibition runs from Oct. 23-25 and is hosted by the Consulate General of France in New York City. The honorary president of this year’s event is Chef Daniel Boulud, whose roots are Lyonnais.
Two thirds of the exhibitors are leading French luxury manufacturers of furniture and accessories who will exhibit one-of-a-kind pieces especially created for the event, which champions the elegance that France is known for around the world.
Participating interior designers, decorative artists, fabric designers and landscape designers include Asselin, Joel Orgiazzi, Ateliers Charles Jouffre, Tassinari & Chatel, Rouveure-Marquez, Francois Goffinet and 16 other artisans, many of whom have established business already in the U.S.
A smaller portion of exhibits will offer jewelry and wedding couture designs.
