This Friday, the International Home + Housewares Show will welcome over 2,100 exhibitors from around the world, including 400 new attendee companies, to Chicago. The show, which sold out in December, will host exhibitors including SMEG, Kohler and Alessi as well as newly expanded Discover Design category, with Chilewich, Gabriel-Glas, Koziol, Modern-Twist, Monkey Business, Orrefors, Kosta Boda, Victor + Victoria and Wild + Wolf among the brands showcased.

“To date, we have exceeded last year’s exhibit space square footage, a sign of how important this world-class marketplace is to IHA member suppliers,” said Phil Brandl, International Housewares Association president and CEO. “We look forward to bringing the industry together at the premier housewares trade event.”

Highlights include the Hall of Global Innovation, with special exhibits such as Pantone ColorWatch, the IHA Global Innovation Awards and the IHA Student Design Competition; the Innovation Theater, with 20 presentations devoted to issues like the Internet of Things, global shoppers and millennials; and the standing-room-only educational seminars led by IHA color expert Leatrice Eiseman and lifestyle expert Tom Mirabile.
