Karen Olson, senior vice president of marketing at International Market Centers (IMC), has been honored with an Outstanding Women in Business Award from Triad Business Journal, recognizing her roles in both the business community as well as the region at large.
“Karen Olson is a talented and valued member of our management team who is known for her business acumen and her marketing savvy,” said Bob Maricich, chief executive officer of IMC. “She is so deserving of this honor and we are pleased to see her recognized with this award.”
Olson is in charge of marketing teams for High Point Market and Las Vegas Market, spanning brand marketing, creative and digital media, public relations, corporate communications, retail relations and call center functions. She has been with IMC for six years and held prior roles as the VP of marketing for Merchandise Mart Properties, and the director of marketing for Retail Systems Alert Group.
