Scheduled to launch in the Middle East this November, Good Housekeeping Middle East will be published in partnership with ITP Publishing Group, a leading Middle East consumer and business magazine publisher.

Good Housekeeping has 10 international editions, in addition to its U.S. flagship, having most recently launched in Ukraine in December 2007. The magazine is published in six languages, with distribution in more than 18 countries, and is also scheduled to launch a South African edition this October.

“We expect the magazine’s trustworthy, time-tested advice and information to resonate well with women in the region. We are pleased to work with ITP, a world-class partner, to bring the Good Housekeeping brand to the Middle East,” said Duncan Edwards, president & CEO of Hearst Magazines International (HMI).

Good Housekeeping Middle East will appeal to women ages 30 to 45 who take pride in their home, lifestyle and families. The magazine will bring a new voice to the region, and will be the only international publication targeting this segment of the market.

“The Middle East’s family-focused culture makes Good Housekeeping the ideal magazine to introduce to the region,” said Walid Akawi, CEO of ITP. “We are excited about launching the Good Housekeeping brand and bringing a trusted source of inspiration and support to the Middle East audience.”

Good Housekeeping Middle East will be published in English with an initial print run of 15,000 copies, and it will be available at all major retail outlets.
