For the 5th year, Hearst will present the fifth annual “Designer Visions” program, a showcase of three apartments created by home magazines House Beautiful , Town & Country,  and VERANDA at a prewar development on Fifth Avenue and 102nd Street in Manhattan.

House  Beautiful will partner with Heather Moore for Jed Johnson Associates, Inc. taking inspiration from Factory Girl. Town &  Country will partner with Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller  for Carrier and Company Interiors Ltd. referencing Igby Goes  Down. Veranda will partner with Thomas O’Brien for Aero Studios  Ltd. for the movie Someone to Watch Over Me.

After the opening night event of Designer Visions: Cinema Style on October 5, a series of special events will be held in the spaces through the end of the year.

Previous designers of Designer Visions in past years have included Thom Filicia, Richard Mishaan, John Saladino, Celerie Kemble, and Charlotte Moss, among others, at exclusive properties including The Setai Fifth Avenue, The Laurel and Soho Mews.

This year’s “Cinema Style” theme pays homage to films that capture the allure and romance of New York City’s Central Park, which is the view from the residences.  Each apartment illustrates the design collaboration between the titles and the country’s top designers who draw inspiration from the fashion and flair of a chosen film, while embracing the point of view of each distinctive magazine.

The completed Designer Visions residences will each be featured editorially in the November 2011 issues of House Beautiful and Town & Country, and the January/February issue of VERANDA

Online and social media components of the project will include behind-the-scenes video, photo flipbooks, sponsor information and resources available on the magazine's websites and on Town&Country’s Facebook page.
