Fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, in partnership with textile home furnishings company Springs Global, will introduce a home collection to include bedding, bath, tabletop, and decorative accessories in Spring 2011 at international department stores, specialty stores and on DVF.com.
Von Furstenberg's bedding and accessories collections will be inspired by nature and contemporary art, as well as vintage and contemporary prints used in her fashion collections.
The designer's last foray into the home category was a collection with Sears in the 1970s. Since then, she has developed a line of rugs produced by The Rug Company, and is currently developing a to-the-trade fabric collection.
