Showrooms at the San Francisco Design Center will host seminars, workshops and keynotes over February 24 to 26 for the center’s yearly Design San Francisco fair. Held daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the free event will feature programming and parties created specifically for designers.
The Wednesday keynote will feature Jennifer Dunlop Fletcher, SFMOMA chief curator of architecture and design, in conversation with Alisa Carroll, editor in chief of San Francisco Cottages & Gardens, and special guest Dutch textile artist Claudy Jongstra. Thursday’s lecture will star Josh Flagg, star of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing L.A., with designers Geoffrey De Sousa and Catherine Kwong.
In addition, the fair’s lineup includes showroom events and discussions, such as a before-and-after presentation with Candice Olson; a seminar on getting published with Rue magazine founder and editor in chief Crystal Palecek; and the discussion “Designing for High Net Worth Consumers Where They Live and Stay,” with designer Pamela Babey and SFC&G’s Alisa Caroll.
