Decorators Club hosts annual holiday party, honors chairmen

More than 200 Decorators Club members, colleagues and industry friends gathered last week at the Colony Club in New York City for the annual holiday celebration and benefit for the DC Education Fund.

In addition, members toasted three honorary chairmen for their support and contributions to the design community: Gary Crain, founder of Crain & Ventolo Associates, Inc.; Harry Hinson, chairman of Hinson & Company; and John Rosselli, founder of John Rosselli Antiques and John Rosselli & Associates. They each received a certificate framed by J. Pocker and Sons.

The DC Education Fund Inc. was established in 1960 and through this holiday celebration and lecture series has raised funds to support an annual portfolio competition for six New York colleges that offer BFA programs in interior design.

Founded in 1914, The Decorators Club is America's oldest women's organization dedicated to the interior design profession. The membership includes women in all areas of the field of decorative arts who are committed to furthering interior design education through a variety of programs.
