A 35-paint collection called Color by Crate & Barrel debuts tomorrow. The paints, created in collaboration with Colorhouse, were “inspired by the purity of color in an artist’s palette," according to the company. The collection does not have VOCs (volatile organic compounds), HAPs (hazardous air pollutants), reproductive toxins or chemical solvents.

The paints come in three finishes—flat, eggshell and semigloss—and will be available in stores in 8-ounce sample containers, and online in a range of sizes. Depending on the surface, one gallon covers approximately 350 to 400 square feet with two coats.
