CEOs flock to January summit in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Market CEO Summit, January 29 – 30, offers a forum for industry leaders to connect and learn about issues and opportunities critical to business today, according to Robert Maricich, chief executive officer of International Market Centers.

The speaker lineup will include author Luke Williams, economic forecaster Samuel Wardwell, Hispanic community leader Charles Garcia, chief information officer Vivek Kundra, and HGTV co-founder Susan Packard.

“Las Vegas is unique in its commitment to fostering executive level discussions about entrepreneurship, IT planning, product development, corporate citizenship, Hispanic market opportunities, innovation and the global economy,” said Maricich.

Williams will draw on his book Disrupt: Think the Unthinkable to Spark Transformation in Your Business for his speech, “Disrupt—Sparking Business Transformation with Innovation.” Williams is an internationally recognized authority on innovation leadership and works with organizations all over the world on challenges ranging from creating new products and services to transforming organizational processes and behaviors.

Wardwell, provided by The Fisher Wealth Management Group of UBS, will address the “Global Economic Outlook for 2014.”  Wardwell is senior VP, pioneer investments, and he and his investment strategy specialist team are responsible for providing updates on overall financial market performance, economic trends and the firm’s economic outlook to clients and their advisors.

Garcia, who has worked for four presidents, both Republican and Democrat, and is nationwide leader in the Hispanic community, who will address the rising consumer influence of Hispanics in the U.S., and suggest how the gift and home furnishings industries can cater to this community in everything from product development to company operations.

Kundra, the first U.S. chief information officer appointed by President Barack Obama, will speak about proper IT planning for businesses and the role that data will play in the future to transform businesses into worldwide organizations.

Packard, co-founder of HGTV, will present “Entrepreneurship: How to Create and Build Great Companies,” using examples from her own amazing career successes and discussing her best practices experience of entrepreneurship.

Pricing for the Las Vegas Market CEO Summit is $395 per person for individuals whose company exhibits in an IMC property in both High Point, NC, and Las Vegas, NV; $595 per person for individuals whose company exhibits in an IMC property in High Point, NC or Las Vegas, NV; and $895 for individuals whose company does not currently exhibit at an IMC property.
