Illinois-based fabric company Brentano is making its color forecast for 2017. Each year, the company's design department evaluates past products, collects data from its sales team and closely observes evolving trends in the design world in order to determine its selections.

Brentano's eighth-annual color prediction presents three new colors—Coral, Chartreuse and Bloom—along with a powerful colorless shade called Almost Black. The company is also reintroducing two classic hues: Peacock and Elephant.

"We look forward to our annual color forecasting," said Iris Wang, Brentano's design director. "We want to make sure we're delivering a harmonious palette that interior designers can be inspired by. The colors are much more dynamic in layers—creating a perfect balance of hues that fit cohesively together in one room."
