Architects and fashion designers transcend the 'pop-up shop'

BOFFO, a non-profit organization promoting artists and designers, along with architect Spilios Gianakopoulos have paired fashion designers with architects for a series of installations and exhibitions known as 'Building Fashion' near Manhattan's High Line park.

Each installation will reflect a participating fashion brand’s image through expressive voluminous forms that engage the indoor and outdoor elements of the site.

None of the participating fashion designers have freestanding stores, so the opportunity will allow them to explore how their brand can be translated into a three-dimensional space transcending the common pop-up store.

Architects will be selected with Architizer through a national search of the leading emerging designers.
