Today, Architectural Digest kicks off a seven-day tribute to color, with top designers taking over the magazine’s Instagram feed and posting photos exclusively around a theme hue. The campaign, #ADLovesColor, celebrates AD’s yearly Living with Color issue. Today, designer Kelly Wearstler kicked off the week with turquoise.

“Turquoise is an imaginative hue—easily one of my favorites. It evokes a cool, tranquil vibe, making it a natural choice for spaces where one wants to feel relaxed and at ease,” writes Wearstler on her first post for the day.

The schedule for the rest of the week includes:

    •  Tuesday: Will Taylor, @BrightBazaar

    •  Wednesday: Leandra Medine, @LeandraMedine and @ManRepeller

    •  Thursday: Jonathan Adler, @JonathanAdler

    •  Friday: Emily Henderson, @Em_Henderson

    •  Saturday: Nate Berkus, @NateBerkus

    •  Sunday: Amy Astley, @AmyTAstley

All told, the accounts reach 3-million-plus followers. AD readers are encouraged to post with the tag #ADLovesColor.

Architectural Digest’s social media platforms play a key role in connecting the brand with new audiences,” says Amy Astley, the magazine’s new editor in chief. “AD reaches over 5.4 million engaged social followers, and initiatives like #ADLovesColor, working with high-profile influencers, help drive the conversation further and build on audience growth.”
