Architectural Digest hailed designers Kerry Joyce and Chuck Comeau with a cocktail reception in New York on May 12 to celebrate the introduction of the Kerry Joyce Textiles Performance Collection. Hosted by AD Editor in Chief Margaret Russell, the evening toasted Joyce, founder of Kerry Joyce Associates, and Comeau, founder and CEO of Dessin Fournir Companies, at the Dessin Fournir Showroom at the Fine Arts Building in Midtown.

"What better way to debut our new ‘Performance Collection’ of luxury indoor-outdoor fabrics than with a night of pure revelry!” Joyce said. “We celebrated a busy and often serious week in New York design with singing and dancing, a joyous night of letting loose and having a good time!"

Guests were treated to jazz courtesy of the Chris Norton Band, featuring a baby grand piano, and catering by Shiraz Events, including distinctive drinks like a basil-infused vodka cocktail garnished with basil, lime, ginger and cucumber, and a Champagne-based cocktail mixed with brandy and a sugar cube. Select passed hors-d'oeuvres included forbidden rice, American black caviar with mascarpone, tuna tartare, Chai-rubbed lamb, and warm gruyere with a gold leaf.
