Recognition. Credibility. Project pride. These are just a few of the reasons why designers want to be published—plus, the exposure can be good for business. Designers who are regularly featured in shelter publications, both in print and online, often earn licensing deals, brand sponsorships and large-scale projects with unicorn clients. So why is getting published easy for some but so elusive for others? In this eye-opening strategy session, author and television producer Kim Kuhteubl helps designers get real about their blocks to being seen, and outlines practical steps they can take to get their projects on “pages” in 2025.

In this workshop, attendees will learn:
- Why visibility is important
- Common visibility blocks and cures
- How to approach editors and where to seek publishing opportunities

After this workshop, attendees will have:
- A clear understanding of the reasons behind your visibility blocks and smart methods to overcome them
- A sense of whether working with a publicist is right for you
- Strategies for creating an attention-grabbing pitch with substantive text and publication-worthy photography

Additional Information:
This workshop is conducted through Zoom webinar. All you need to join is reliable internet access and computer speakers with good volume.
