On October 24, designer Penny Drue Baird hosted an intimate dinner party at Promemoria’s New York City showroom, to celebrate the luxury Italian furniture line.
The intimate guest list of 24 included influential women such as Veranda editor in chief Steele Marcoux, Ann Kroenke, Daphne Oz, Laurie Tisch and Candice Stark, as well as Gregory Velvet and co-host Paolo Sozzi, owner of Promemoria, who joined from Milan. Attendees traveled from Los Angeles, Portland, Denver and Paris.
Dinner was accompanied by Antinori vineyard wines, which were curated by 26th-generation winemaker Alessia Antinori, who described the pairings. The tablescapes were designed by Baird herself and included items from Pollux, Tiffany & Co. and Promemoria’s signature frog sculptures.
“I’ve never seen such a flurry of activity and chatter at any party I’ve attended or given,” said Baird. “The gathering, who for the most part were women, were busy getting each other’s numbers and making future plans. Everyone was thrilled by the beautiful Promemoria pieces.”
