The 2023 Southeastern Designer Showhouse, hosted by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and presented by Benecki Cole, made its debut in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood on May 10.
Situated on an acre, the new residence backs up to a seemingly endless grove of mature trees, creating the feel of countryside in the city. Developer and builder Benecki Cole, architect William T. Baker and landscape design firm LandPlus with lead specifications designer Source combined forces to craft this custom residence, which boasts an overall streamline moderne aesthetic with art deco and art nouveau influences.
The month-long event, which benefits Camp Twin Lakes, features more than 15 interior design firms, from Tennessee and Kentucky to Georgia and South Carolina. Moonlight & Magnolias, the opening-night gala, hosted 300 attendees, including Bethanne Matari of Currey & Company, Katie Miner of ADAC, Fulton County commissioner chair Robb Pitts and Esteem Media CEO Adam Japko.
The event kicked off with Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles’ publisher Elizabeth Ralls and editor in chief Lauren Iverson making introductory remarks, followed by a touching speech by Matthew Quinn of Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio on behalf of honorary co-chairs Justin and Kelly Wolf-Anthony, a dynamic duo who are titans of interior design and hospitality in the Southeast—and beyond.
“We’re thrilled to partner with this incredible design-build team to showcase a fully built-out, three-story custom residence with unparalleled bespoke detail that’s literally unlike anything else available on the market in Atlanta right now,” said Ralls.
The Southeastern Showhouse is open to the public for tours through June 4, 2023.
