In celebration of Lee Jofa’s 200th anniversary, the brand teamed up with interior designer Young Huh to outfit a space in the Lee Jofa showroom using the new anniversary collection. More than 65 guests, including Lisa and Ellen Kravet, Stephen Elrod, Dennis Scully, Nick Olsen, Robert Rufino, Carolyn Sollis and David Wood, toasted to the unveiling of the room, enjoying specialty cocktails like the “Hollyhock Spritz” and light bites presented on anniversary fabric.
Throughout the room, anniversary collection fabric, carpet and furniture frames came together in signature Young Huh style. The designer and her team debuted the iconic Tree of Life pattern as a wallcovering. Artwork from Berry Campbell, fireplace accessories from Chesneys and florals from Diane James Home completed the luxe ambiance.
“The Lee Jofa 200 collection is a much anticipated expansion of the ethos of the Lee Jofa brand,” said Huh. “We wanted to present Lee Jofa’s traditional, iconic spirit in a fresh, modern way. We used the recolored Tree of Life hand-block with the new wallpaper of the same print along with fabrics from the new collection, pairing it with some brighter colors, new furniture forms and whimsical touches. We like to begin with tradition but love irreverent pairings that bring excitement to timeless design.”
