International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA), Resource Furniture, and Novità Communications presented their 2018 trend report from the April 2018 Salone del Mobile in Milan. The three presenters were design director Challie Stillman of Resource Furniture, and Novità’s Kristin Coleman, vice president, and Lucy Mathias, senior account executive.
“Salone del Mobile is the largest and most influential design fair in the world. Although design trends emerge from many sources throughout every year, in our experience, what is shown in Milan each spring really sets the tone in the world of design,” said Stillman. “We were excited to share our research and insights with this wonderfully engaged audience of design professionals.”
Attending the event were members of IFDA, including New York chapter president Richard Segal, president-elect Andrea Warriner and vice president of programs Andrea Algaze, as well as Rose Hittmeyer and more designers, architects and other members of the trade.
