Hollander Design’s book launch at Indochine in New York on May 8 was a celebration of design and nature, with designers, architects and clients raising a glass to toast The Landscape Home. Guests enjoyed garden-themed cocktails surrounded by the same iconic palm tree–papered walls that served as a backdrop when Ed Hollander launched his first book nine years ago. Adding to the evening’s festive atmosphere, the Hollander Design team transformed the sidewalk and entrance to the restaurant into a lush springtime urban garden.
Amid the botanical splendor, guests including Steve and Jenny Kroft, Jerry Speyer, Katherine Farley, Lloyd Blankfein, David Burtka, Jacqueline Terrebonne, Catherine DiPerisco and Jamie Drake enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails. Hollander and his partners Melissa Reavis, Stephen Eich and Geoff Valentino signed copies of the book and shared stories of the 22 projects featured within its pages, including homes in the country, the city, and by the sea.
“Hosting the launch of our second book at Indochine felt like a homecoming, celebrating our work in such a great venue for a the second time,” said Hollander. “I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who helped bring this book to life.”
