On September 30, Eichholtz and its esteemed cohort of creative collaborators gathered to discuss the powerful storytelling of such partnerships, as well as ways to leverage them. BOH’s Dennis Scully moderated a conversation with Eichholtz chief creative officer Edwin van der Gun, The Met’s head of global licensing and partnerships Josh Romm, and celebrated designers Corey Damen Jenkins and Vanessa Deleon—who both teased upcoming lines with the brand.
The breakfast event was held at Eichholtz’s Manhattan flagship, which hosted more than 50 guests, including representatives from The Met, acclaimed design ambassador Patti Carpenter and Emmy-winning NBC show host Michelle Park. Attendees enjoyed breakfast bites, and each left with a signed copy of Jenkins’s new book, Design Reimagined.
“My thanks to Edwin, Josh, Corey and Vanessa for being great panelists, and to the Eichholtz team for hosting us and making us feel so welcome,” said Scully. “It was a pleasure to learn how these partnerships come together and hear about the exciting debuts the company has in store for us. I can’t wait to see Corey’s new lighting collection in Paris!”
“What a rare treat to have all of our collaborative partners in one room,” said van der Gun. “We are so fortunate to have Corey, Vanessa, Josh and the team at The Met as part of the Eichholtz family.”
“A special thanks to our friends at Eichholtz Manhattan for the splendid hospitality,” said Jenkins. Deleon added, “I feel so lucky to be a room with these design talents!”
