Cosentino, the global leader in the production of sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, returned to its roots for a milestone gathering, hosting its fifth annual C.Next Designers Summit at the Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancún, Mexico, from January 26 to January 29, 2026. The four-day event welcomed more than 300 influential designers, brand partners and members of the media from across North America for an immersive program designed to engage the senses and spark meaningful conversation back where it all began. From thought-provoking panels to experiential activations and memorable celebrations, the summit underscored Cosentino’s ongoing commitment to innovation, community and the future of design.
The programming featured a robust roster of industry voices, with appearances by Cosentino leadership including Eduardo and Pilar Cosentino. House Beautiful’s Carisha Swanson served as the first-ever master of ceremonies. Panel discussions brought together an impressive lineup of creatives and thought leaders, including Architectural Digest’s Sam Cochran, Business of Home’s Kaitlin Petersen, Interior Design’s Cindy Allen, Luxe Interiors + Design’s Jill Cohen and Veranda’s Steele Marcoux, as well as designers Ray Booth, Corey Damen Jenkins, Alexa Hampton, Amber Lewis and Mikel Welch, among others. Topics ranged from business strategy and wellness to creativity, craftsmanship and cultural influence.
In addition to its panelists, the summit drew a notable group of designers whose presence further cemented C.Next’s status as a must-attend industry event. Among those in attendance were Claudia Afshar, Richard Anuszkiewicz, Arianne Bellizaire, Kelly Collier-Clark, Luis Fernandez, Thom Filicia, Kerrie Kelly and Michel Smith Boyd. Together, the diverse group of attendees helped make the 2026 C.Next Designers Summit a powerful celebration of collaboration, inspiration and the evolving design community—marking five years of C.Next with momentum for what’s ahead.
“Cancún provides an incredible backdrop for creativity, but it’s the people and
partnerships that truly bring C.Next to life,” said Patty Dominguez, vice
president of business development, Cosentino North America. “In this monumental fifth
year, coming back to Nizuc allowed us to celebrate how far the industry has come while
continuing to foster meaningful, lasting connections.”
