On May 13, at the flagship Park Avenue showroom of Portugal-based luxury furniture brand Frato, members of the New York design community came together to celebrate the publication of Interiors of a Storyteller, the first book by designer and author Stephanie Sabbe. For the occasion, Sabbe and The Business of Home Podcast host Dennis Scully engaged in an inspiring conversation about the many ways to weave compelling narratives into creative schemes. More than 150 guests were on hand to share in the wisdom, network and enjoy an exclusive first look at Frato’s latest collection—pieces that pair refined craftsmanship with timeless design.
“We were honored to welcome Stephanie and Dennis as our featured guests to lead an engaging discussion while surrounded by the elegant atmosphere of our New York showroom,” said Marta Pereira, global retail director at Frato. “Their insights and stories made the night truly exceptional.”
“What a treat to welcome my friend—the talented and hilarious Stephanie Sabbe—to New York,” said Scully. “Our gracious hosts at Frato offered the most luxurious setting in which to swap stories and celebrate her beautiful new book. Interiors of a Storyteller is a must-read, and it was a joy to see so many from the city’s design community turn out to toast her success.”
“I genuinely enjoyed myself,” added designer Jeffrey Parker, who attended the event. “Frato throws a great party!”
