THE WORK
This position is Mostly work from home/remote!
You’ll primarily support our full-service residential projects, with occasional support for virtual design as needed:
Building and revising SketchUp models efficiently (speed + accuracy matter)
Supporting space planning, layouts, and design development
Assisting with FF&E and finish selections, sourcing, and specs
Creating and maintaining FF&E/finish schedules and project documentation
Helping assemble client-facing materials (presentations, visual aids, mood boards)
Supporting coordination: vendor correspondence, procurement tracking, meeting notes
Supporting virtual design projects as needed, with potential to grow into leading virtual designs over time
Occasional in-person site visits, installs, and team/client meetings as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of residential interior design experience (junior designer/designer level)
Very strong SketchUp skills (comfortable, efficient, and clean modeling)
Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage details across multiple projects
Comfortable working independently with mostly virtual communication
Solution-minded, proactive, and kind—someone who makes the team stronger
MUST HAVES
Los Angeles area (or very nearby)
Reliable transportation / working vehicle for occasional meetings and site visits
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs/Sheets)
Strong SketchUp Skills
Work samples/portfolio required — we won’t consider applicants without them
BONUS POINTS (please highlight if you have it)
Houzz Pro/Ivy experience (strongly preferred—please call this out clearly in your submission)
Photoshop experience
Familiarity with procurement workflows and vendor coordination
ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
Temp / freelance to start
10–20 hours/week
$30–$40/hour, depending on experience and fit
Flexible schedule with clear deadlines; mostly remote with occasional in-person needs
Potential path to part-time or full-time
